The band Midnight Love features a classic tenor sax and trombone frontline with vintage keyboard sounds in a funky, rare-groove setting with a romantic bent. Just shy of being considered a Crusaders cover band, their sets feature hits and b-sides of artists like Burt Bacharach, Ruby & The Romantics and Lou Donaldson.
The line up lead by saxophonist Peter Vircks is pianist & organist Brian Ziemniak (Dr. Mambo's Combo, F-Deluxe, LP Music, Yohannes Tona Band), drummer Greg Schutte (Mickey Hart Band, Ryan Bingham, Chastity Brown Band), trombonist Matt Darling (Hookers and Blow, New Standards, Honeydogs), bassist Patrick Nelson (Root City Band, Rhythmic Circus, Eric Hutchinson, New Primitives) and percussionist Daryl Boudreaux (The Steeles, Sounds Of Blackness, Bruce A. Henry Band, Prince).
